Tractor Trailer Strikes Two State Police Cars in St. Louis County

The crash took place on a Sunday morning on Interstate 270 in St. Louis County, where there were two patrol cars parked on the side of the highway. The tractor trailer approached them and authorities say that the driver lost control. He struck both patrol cars before overturning.
Both of the officers were injured as a result of the accident and the patrol cars were totaled. The truck driver was also injured. None of them sustained life threatening injuries, but they were transported to area hospitals for immediate medical attention.
