Argument Over Trash Can Results in Serious Injury

A thirty-three-year-old woman from De Soto was injured this week during an altercation that occurred following an argument over a trash can, according to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website.

The woman was accompanying a man to a friend’s home in De Soto to assist with some car repairs. While they were working on the car, another man and a woman approached them and began arguing with them. The argument centered around a trash can, which had apparently been moved. When the argument escalated, the woman was hit in the face with a baseball bat and kicked in the head. She received immediate medical attention, including being flown to St. Louis University Hospital, where she had to have surgery for a bleed in the brain. She also received a skull fracture.
