One Family is Dead After Horrific Missouri Car Accident
While some car accidents are relatively minor, occasionally, there is an accident that causes tragic deaths that no family should have to endure. This was the case for one St. Louis family, who suffered the loss of a mother and her two children after a morning car crash on Highway 61 in Wentzville.
According to an article on the St. Louis Fox2News website, the accident occurred because an Audi was struck from behind by a Ford Escort. Investigators are still not sure what caused the Escort to travel across the median, but once it did, it was struck broadside by a Ford Escape. The drivers of the Escort and Escape did not sustain any serious injuries because of the accident.
Unfortunately, the driver of the Audi – a mother who was thirty-six years old – passed away at the scene of the accident, along with her six-year-old daughter. The mother’s infant daughter was also a passenger in the car, and she died at the hospital.
The losses this family has suffered are incredible. Officials are not sure what the original cause of the accident is.
