Family of Four Dead After Truck Crosses the Median
A fatal car crash in St. Louis has claimed four lives; two women and their daughters, who were headed to a volleyball tournament. Accidents like this one are far too common in Missouri, and the outcome of this one was devastating.
The crash took place on Interstate 64. The driver of a Ford F-150 lost control of his vehicle and crossed the median into oncoming traffic. The truck was able to break the median cable barrier, then it hit a minivan in a head-on collision. All four people in the vehicle were killed as a result.
The truck also hit an Acura, but the driver did not have life-threatening injuries. The accident took place around 11:00 in the morning.
There's still no word on how the driver of the Ford pickup truck lost control of his vehicle, but there's a criminal investigation being conducted into him. It's almost certain that he was negligent in some way.
