However, he stopped in the middle of the road at the exact moment the motorcycle was approaching. The motorcyclist attempted to swerve to avoid the SUV, but hit the front of it. He was thrown from his bike and struck a nearby utility pole. Unfortunately, he died at the hospital at a later time.
