Fatal Multi-Car Crash Outside St. Louis Claims One Life

Multi-car accidents can be extremely scary, and we see them all the time in the St. Louis area. One recent crash occurred on I-270 in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

According to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website, the driver of a pickup truck caused the six-vehicle accident. The pickup truck struck an SUV on the highway, and then hit a woman’s Chevy as she was changing lanes, where the impact was at an angle. The pickup truck went on to hit another vehicle.

The Chevy crashed into a another car, and a sixth car hit a guard rail as a result of the accident. The woman driving the Chevy died at the scene of the crash and was only eighteen years old. One of the other drivers had moderate injuries and was treated at a local hospital. All of the other drivers were unhurt.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities still are not sure what caused the pickup truck driver to crash. Even so, as your St. Louis car accident attorney, we can tell you that it looks as though he was at fault for this accident.

The death of this young woman is so tragic. Also, any other injuries that were inflicted during the wreck could have been avoided. Everyone involved has the right to contact a St. Louis car accident attorney for compensation. That is the only way justice can be served.
