GM Announces Another Recall
In a tough two week period for auto manufacturer GM another recall was announced. Over 54,000 trucks and SUVs were recalled due to problems with the steering column. All vehicles are 2013 models including the Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban. Cadillac Escalade, Escalade EXT and Escalade ESV and GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL and Savana were also involved in the current recall according to a report in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. According to reports these vehicles may drift after being put in park due to the defect.
A few weeks ago GM had recalled 119,000 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC trucks for not having a hood latch that could cause the hood to come up while driving. Hoffman & Gelfman advise anyone with one of these vehicles to immediately stop driving them and contact the dealer that they bought them from.
