Jefferson County Police Chase Ends With Three People Dead

According to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website, a police chase this past weekend ended with the deaths of three people when their car flipped over.

The driver of the car was an eighteen-year-old St. Louis man. He had three passengers; two other men and one female. Police reported that the vehicle had been pulled over for speeding on I-55. A Missouri State Trooper had pulled the car over, and as soon as he stepped from the patrol car, the vehicle fled the scene. The chase went on for twenty-five miles before the car flipped upon attempting to exit the road.

The female passenger was the only person wearing a seatbelt. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for her injuries.

Fortunately, there were no other vehicles involved in this deadly crash. However, as your St. Louis personal injury attorney, we know that this is not always the case. This incident took place on a frequently-traveled road, and so it could have resulted in the deaths or injuries of many more people.

When you’re in an accident, it can be difficult to know what to do. We want to remind you of the importance of contacting a St. Louis personal injury attorney to discuss your particular case with a professional. You will get the legal advice you need, and we will fight hard to get you compensated for your injuries.
