MoDOT Truck Driver Causes Accident in St. Louis

One would expect that someone who works for the Missouri Department of Transportation would use extra care when traveling on the roads, especially while on the job. However, according to an article on the Fox2Now St. Louis website, one MoDOT worker was taken into custody after causing an accident with three other vehicles.

The article states that the forty-one-year-old man was driving a MoDOT work truck at the time of the crash, which occurred in front of the Wentzville School District Headquarters. When authorities arrived at the scene of the accident, it was discovered that the man was drunk. He was immediately taken into custody and charged with allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Fortunately, no serious injuries resulted from this accident, but there was undoubtedly a lot of damage to the vehicles that were involved. MoDOT declined to comment about the incident because of personnel privacy rules.
