Police Chase Leads to Accident and Arrest

Police used a computerized radar detector to check the thirty-year-old driver’s license plate as he drove past them on I-70. The police officers found that the pickup truck was wanted in connection with other crimes. While the driver pulled over, he fled the scene and led officers on a police chase, speeding at up to 80 mph. Several other officers joined in on the chase, and it included weaving in and out of traffic, driving on sidewalks and going through parking lots. It finally ended when the driver crashed into an SUV, which held several passengers.
Fortunately, this man was arrested at that point, but not every police chase ends without someone being seriously injured.
