Road Rage in St. Louis: One Couple’s Argument Leads to Crash
Road rage continues to be a problem in St. Louis, and one good Samaritan who tried to help out a distressed woman found out recently that it’s not always a good idea to get involved in domestic disputes.
According to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website, the argument between one twenty-six-year-old man and his girlfriend was started while they were driving their car down the highway. The situation quickly escalated and the woman asked her boyfriend to pull over so she could get out. He obliged, but when a second vehicle pulled over to make sure she was OK, that’s when things started to really get tense.
The man who pulled over took the girlfriend in his truck and began leaving the parking lot toward the local police station, at her request. The boyfriend then ran into the back of his truck with his vehicle and then attempted to sideswipe it. Although he left the scene after that, he was later apprehended and arrested by police.
No one was hurt in this incident, but the two people in the pick up truck were fortunate. This could have been much worse.
