Semi-Truck Accident Injures Missouri Driver

Tractor trailers are driven by professional drivers who are taught about how to avoid crashes that could potentially harm themselves or others, and damage their equipment. Unfortunately, even the smallest incident can lead to a semi-truck accident, and in St. Louis, this happens all too frequently.

According to an article on the Herald Tribune website, a semi-truck was recently in an accident that resulted in the driver’s truck overturning on State Route 3. The truck had been carrying popcorn at the time, and it overturned on the passenger side. The driver was a fifty-six-year-old man from Jackson, Missouri.

The article states that the accident occurred because the driver swerved, attempting to miss an animal that was in the road. Fortunately, there were no other vehicles involved in the crash. However, this is a situation that could have ended much worse.
