Two St. Louis Teenagers Die in Rear-End Car Crash
Four teenagers were traveling on Page Avenue in St. Louis County late one Saturday night in January. According to an article on the Fox2News St. Louis website, the teens were stopped at an intersection when their car was suddenly struck from behind.
According to the article, the driver of the car who hit them did not have serious injuries from the crash. However, two of the teenagers died and two of them were taken to the hospital for injuries. While the investigation was still ongoing at the time of the article, surely this was an accident that could have been prevented.
It is unclear if alcohol was involved in this accident. However, cases like this one are certainly indicative of careless driving and negligence. All too often, drivers fail to pay attention to the road while they’re driving, or they make bad driving decisions. In this case, regardless of what the circumstances of the negligence were, they resulted in the deaths of two teenagers.
