Teenagers Attack and Rob Attorney in St. Louis
Most teenagers are simply looking to hang out with friends when they head downtown. However, that wasn’t the case recently when two teenage boys attacked and robbed a St. Louis attorney.
According to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website, a group of about seven or eight teens surrounded the thirty-two-year-old attorney on North 10th Street early in November. They asked him for money, and then knocked him out. He suffered severe injuries as a result of their attack, including broken eye sockets and teeth, as well as other head injuries.
The teenagers stole his cell phone and his money, and two of the individuals who were involved have been apprehended and arrested.
This incident occurred on the heels of two other similar incidents in which a group of girls attacked two women in the same area of downtown St. Louis.
These cases are tragic, and while it’s good that some of the teens have been arrested, they’ve caused serious injuries to their victims. As your St. Louis personal injury attorney, we want to caution you to remain aware of your surroundings when you’re in that area of the city, and always travel with someone else whenever it’s possible.
Even when you’re careful, these types of attacks can still occur, and all of the individuals involved have not been caught. Please contact a St. Louis personal injury attorney if you’re involved in a similar incident. You deserve justice, and an attorney will fight hard to make sure you’re compensated.
