Eleven-Year-Old Boy and Two Others Shot During Robbery
There have been several incidences of shootings in St. Louis over the past few months, and many people have gotten killed or injured. Most recently, several shooting sprees have occurred in a short period of time, all across the city.
This weekend, a robbery took place near Iowa Ave., according to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website. The gunman approached a vehicle with the intent to rob them who was getting inside. He shot the man in the head, and then fired shots inside the vehicle, where the man had an adult passenger and an eleven-year-old boy.
No life-threatening injuries were sustained from the incident. The young boy was shot in the arm, and all three people were taken to a local hospital. The gunman fled from the scene and he hasn’t been taken into custody.
Unfortunately, as your St. Louis personal injury attorney, incidents such as this one are all too common in our city. Children have been injured because of someone committing a crime, and many people have been hurt simply because of the negligence of other people.
If you or someone you care about is hurt because of the criminal behavior or someone else, it’s important to contact a St. Louis personal injury attorney right away. Once that individual is arrested, he or she should be held accountable for their actions.
