Jack-knifed Tractor Trailer Causes Highway Backup
When you’re driving, sometimes it’s easy to forget how many different types of vehicles you share the roadways with. According to an article on KMOV.com, a semi-truck and a car were in an auto accident on Thursday in Madison County, near Marine, Illinois. The accident, at the junction of I-70 and Illinois State Highway 143, backed up traffic on I-70 westbound. The truck jack-knifed and spilled the contents of its load out in the median and on the highway. One person involved in the accident was transported to the hospital by medical helicopter.
