Woman Crashes into Tanker Truck on I-255
If you’ve ever been driving down the highway and you’ve seen someone traveling on your side in the opposite direction, you know how scary that is. Fortunately, this accident occurred in the middle of the night, when traffic was minimal. According to an article on the Fox2News website, the woman involved in the crash suffered non life-threatening injuries, which is amazing, considering the condition of her vehicle.
The woman was traveling the wrong way down I-255, and she struck a tanker truck that was used to carry CO2 gas. As luck would have it, the truck was empty, which is probably what spared her life. The woman was airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis, and the driver of the truck was not injured as a result of the accident. This is an excellent example of an accident that could have been much worse.
