Use Caution When Shopping for Back to School Bargains this Year

It’s that time of year again, when every parent is searching for the best in back to school bargains. While many parents have taken to looking for the best deals online, there are still plenty of you who will be hitting the stores. In doing so, as your St. Louis personal injury attorney, we want to offer you a few words of caution.

Expect Increased Traffic

With everyone rushing from store to store, traffic around malls and shopping plazas will be higher than it’s been, possibly since Christmas. In your haste to arrive at your destination, please remember to drive wisely. It’s never a good idea to try and beat a red light, or to turn left in front of an oncoming car because you’re sure you have enough room. Please leave plenty of time for you to do your shopping safely.

Avoid Slips and Falls

Because stores are going to be filled with shoppers, you can bet that store owners will be going to greater lengths to keep the store clean. That generally means wet floors. Not all stores are diligent when it comes to marking wet floors, so be sure you’re watching where you’re walking to avoid a slip and fall.

If you are injured during this crazy back to school shopping season, please contact a St. Louis personal injury attorney right away.
