Children Taken to Hospital after School Bus Accident

Thousands of children are put on school buses every school day, their parents trustingly putting them into the capable hands of the many trained school bus drivers on the road. While most bus trips to school occur without a hitch, sometimes, accidents happen, endangering the lives of our most precious cargo.

This is what happened in Belleville. KSDK reported that a bus delivering children from Harmony Emge Middle School was involved in an accident with an SUV who failed to yield when turning left. Though no major injuries were reported, six students and the bus driver were transported to the hospital to be checked. The driver of the SUV and her daughter were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Even though there were no major injuries, can and should someone be held responsible for the damage that did occur?  That is what we, as your accident attorneys, want to help you figure out. With any kind of auto accident, regardless of the degree of injury, there could possibly still be medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering from the trauma of being in an accident (especially in children) and more.

If your children have been injured in a school bus accident or if you or someone you know has been involved in any kind of automobile accident, let us assist you. Contact your St. Louis Accident Attorney today for help!
