Two Families Injured After Head-On Collision In St. Louis
During this time of year, it seems as though people in St. Louis are in an even bigger hurry than usual. Two families were injured in a head-on collision that took place at the intersection of North Broadway and Pitzman Avenue.
The occupants of the vehicles included five adults and three children. Some of them were taken to the hospital urgently, however, officials stated that none of their injuries were truly life-threatening, according to The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Authorities are still investigating into the exact cause of the crash, however, at this point it’s anyone’s guess. These types of accidents can occur because of distracted driving, meaning the driver was texting or talking on his cell phone during the operation of the vehicle. They can also be caused by simply trying to beat the crowd to a sale at a nearby store.
