Fatal Crash in St. Louis Kills Two Women

It seems as though car accidents occur quite frequently in St. Louis, and one accident recently claimed the lives of two women, according to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website.

A 2006 Saturn and a 2014 Ford Fusion were the two vehicles involved in an accident that occurred on Highway 63. The Saturn was occupied by two women in their 20s, and witnesses say that they lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the center line. The Ford, which was being driven by a fifty-eight-year-old man, struck the Saturn when it crossed into his path.

The Saturn was jolted to the right side of the road and then caught on fire. Unfortunately, the women driving it died at the scene of the accident. The two occupants of the Ford were taken to a nearby hospital and treated for serious injuries they sustained during the crash. The article is not clear about why the driver of the Saturn lost control of the vehicle, but it could have been a number of reasons.
