Faulty Dishwasher Blamed for Fire

A dishwasher that had been the subject of a recall in 2009 has been blamed for causing $70,000 in damages to a St. Peters home. The dishwasher, a Bosch and Siemens Model according to the report in The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, was recalled by BSH home Appliances Corporation due to a bad electrical component that was known to overheat and be a fire risk. If you have purchased a model produced by this manufacturer Hoffman & Gelfman recommend to immediately stop using it and contact the store where it was purchased.
