Two Missouri Men Arrested For Fighting At Children’s Play
Can you imagine attending a play for one of your children, only to find yourself in a fist fight while the play is occurring? That’s exactly what happened at a local elementary school in Cape Girardeau, Missouri this week, according to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website.
The article doesn’t go into details about why the fight broke out, or who started it. However, it does indicate that the play was being performed by the kindergarten classes at the school, and the two men involved were the fathers of two children in the play. They were arrested by two off-duty police officers who were also there to watch the play that night.
While it doesn’t happen often, fights can break out over anything, even something as seemingly insignificant as which child is putting on a better performance at the school play.
