Police Chase Ends in Arrest in St. Louis

Police chases happen fairly often in St. Louis, and if you keep a close eye on the news you know that they rarely end without someone getting injured. According to an article on the KMOV website, such was the case for a recent police chase that started in North St. Louis.

The situation began when St. Louis police officers attempted to pull over a thirty-year-old man. He fled from police and led them through several residential streets in the city at times reaching speeds of up to 80 mph. The chase ensued for several minutes, but it came to an abrupt halt when he slammed into a parked car near Tower Grove in South City. There were three people in the parked car at the time, and all of them received injuries that required medical attention.

Even after the crash, the man got out of his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. However, the police were able to apprehend and arrest him.
