Police Report Homicide In College Hill Neighborhood

St. Louis homicide detectives were summoned to the College Hill neighborhood to investigate a deadly shooting that took place earlier this week. The victim was a thirty-one-year-old man, and he was found dead in his apartment. The gunshot wounds covered his back, chest and arms, according to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website.

These types of shootings have become all too common in the St. Louis area. Quite often, news stories even center around shooters firing stray bullets into a crowd of people without any real regard for who might be hit. We have seen children getting killed because of gunshots that were fired directly into their homes. We have also seen instances of serious injuries or even death because of gunfire on college campuses in St. Louis.
