St. Louis Woman is Shot to Death While Driving

According to an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website, once St. Louis woman is dead following a shooting while she was driving her car. She was twenty-eight years old, and the mother of two children.

Witnesses who saw the shooting occur said that the man who pulled the trigger was standing near her car when she pulled away from the curb. He fired several times, hitting her in the torso. She lost control of the car and crashed through a fence before hitting another parked vehicle.

Fortunately, there was no one else who was hurt in this incident. However, that’s not always the case. As your St. Louis attorney, we’ve seen many of these situations where a stray bullet hits someone who just happens to be in the area at the time. Or, we’ve seen cases where there’s a child in the car who is hit by the cross-fire.

Any time a crime is committed, there’s a risk of injuries for bystanders. It is our hope that you will never find yourself as a witness to one of these horrific events. However, if you are, it’s important to contact a St. Louis attorney right away to discuss your case. An experienced attorney will know how to proceed, will inform you of your rights, and fight for the compensation you deserve.
