Trampoline Sold at Toys R Us Recalled
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for the First Fitness Trampoline with Handlebars that is manufactured by Aqua-leisure Industries. There have been forty thousand of these sold in the US. The reason for the recall is that the handlebar can break due to metal fatigue. This is a child sized product and we at Hoffman & Gelfman urge you to remove this item immediately from the play area if you have purchased it.
The product’s model number, FF-6902TR can be found on the lower right corner on the back of the packaging. There is a sewn tag on the bottom of the deck part with a date code followed by the letters GLTX. This product was sold exclusively at Toys R Us stores from September of 2010 until April of this year.
It is especially important to be careful with products after a recall has been issued. Our attorneys at Hoffman & Gelfman have been involved in many cases dealing with improperly constructed or poorly labeled products designed for use by all ages. If you’ve been injured as a result of using this, or any other, defective product contact our personal injury attorneys today to find out how we can help.
